MARC is a commuter rail system comprising three lines in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. MARC is administered by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), a Maryland Department of Transportation agency, and is operated under contract with CSX Transportation and the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak). Watkins Mill Town Center is adjacent to the Metropolitan Grove Station on the Brunswick Line, which runs from Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Frederick, Maryland, connects at Point of Rocks, and continues on to Union Station in Washington, DC.
